H1N1 UPDATE

Welcome to Aspen Crossing Elementary.
We are dedicated to promoting the learning and excellence in our students and empowering them to explore, learn and achieve.

"Our mission is to design a comprehensive school program, which will engage children as we focus on their safety, academic, emotional, and social needs. Because the heart and culture of the school is found in the positive relationships formed between teachers and students as well as school and home, we will focus on the development of those relationships through open communication."'

- Principal Denise Maxwell

"When you walk into Aspen Crossing you get a glimpse of the future of education. Teachers wear microphones around their necks that pipes their lessons into speakers mounted in the ceilings of each classroom. Not only is the school wireless, but students have easy access to high-tech iBooks. The morning's news is broadcast via closed circuit television each day. Calming music is played in the hallways.

This isn't the elementary school you went to years back. This is what education should be at all schools. Cherry Creek School District: just happens to be ahead of the curve. Big surprise."
